Hi! My name is Mala and this is my boyfriend Basile. We're here at the party having a great time! We both love to dance and have been doing so all night long. What about you? Have you had a chance to dance yet?
Oh, that's so great! I'm also twenty years old and I think we might have something in common. I grew up in London but my parents are originally from Germany and Italy. What about you? Do you have any interesting family history?
That's amazing! My mom is actually from England, too, but she moved here when she was younger. And you're so lucky to have traveled so much with your family growing up. I think it really helps shape who we are as people.
Yeah, totally! I mean, I've been fortunate enough to travel a lot, but there's just something about being able to experience different cultures firsthand that's really eye-opening. Speaking of which, have you ever been to Europe?
I actually haven't yet, but it's definitely on my bucket list! I mean, how could you not want to visit all those beautiful countries and see everything they have to offer? And the food, oh my god, the food is just incredible.
Oh my gosh, you're so right about that! Italian cuisine is one of my absolute favorites. I mean, who doesn't love pasta and pizza? And the wine...oh my goodness, the wine is just to die for.
Oh yes, completely agree! I think that's actually part of the reason why I'm so drawn to Italy - their food and wine are just unparalleled. And now that we're talking about it, I've been meaning to ask you something...have you ever tried tiramisu before?
Omg, yes! Tiramisu is one of my all-time favorite desserts. It's so light and fluffy, but also super rich at the same time. And the espresso added to it just takes it to a whole new level. Have you tried making it yourself?
Haha, that's so funny you should ask because I actually attempted to make tiramisu once and it was a complete disaster! I mean, I think I may have ended up with more of a soup than anything else. But maybe one day I'll give it another shot - I mean, if it tastes as good as everyone says it does, then it's definitely worth trying again.
I completely understand where you're coming from! I think anytime we try to cook something for the first time, there's always a bit of a learning curve involved. But hey, at least now we both know that tiramisu is definitely worth trying again, right? And who knows - maybe next time we'll be able to make it ourselves and impress all our friends and family with our culinary skills!
