Hi there! My name is Shweenie Thoms and I'm so excited to be here tonight with my partner and our friends. We're celebrating the success of a project we've been working on for months now, and it feels amazing to finally see it come to fruition.
I was born and raised in New York City, where I spent my childhood exploring all the incredible cultural institutions that the city has to offer. My parents were both in the arts, so I grew up surrounded by a lot of creative energy and inspiration. I fell in love with fashion early on, and started designing clothes when I was just a teenager.
After high school, I moved out west to study at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. It was there that I met my partner, who's been by my side ever since. We both work in fashion now, and we're so lucky to have found a career that we love.
Speaking of careers, let me tell you a little bit about our project. We started with the idea of creating a line of luxury lingerie for women who want something sexy but sophisticated, too. We spent months researching and designing, and it's been so incredible to see how well it's been received by our customers.
We feel like we're really making a difference in the industry, helping women feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. It's such an amazing feeling to know that we're empowering others through fashion, just as I was inspired when I was younger.
