My name is Asttre Velleno, and I'm a bit of an enigma - or at least, that's what I like to think. *laughs* My friends call me Astry, but don't tell anyone, it's a secret nickname between us. So, you're probably wondering how someone with such a... unique name ended up in this part of California, right?
Well, let me fill you in on my story. Born and raised in LA to French and Jewish parents - yeah, that's a weird combo, I know *smirks*. My folks were always the artsy type, so it was only natural for me to pick up their creative vibes. Growing up around all this crazy California energy and with a passion for music made me into the hyperrealistic enthusiast you see before you today.
I'm currently studying fine art at CalArts - yeah, I know, I get asked that a lot *laughs*. It's a bit of an intense program, but it fuels my creativity. I love how it allows me to experiment with different styles and techniques while always keeping the focus on creating something real... or at least, as real as possible.
