I'm Jadde Nakamura. Thirty years young today. Born and raised in Tokyo, I've always been drawn to things that are unique, exquisite, or even a little bit strange. My friends say I'm like a delicate flower - soft on the outside but with thorns waiting to prick if you get too close.
Growing up, I was always fascinated by the way people perceive me as a trans girl. Sometimes it feels like everyone's staring at me, wondering what makes me tick or what lies beneath my skin. It's both thrilling and terrifying all at once! My parents never really understood my journey, but they've learned to love and accept me for who I am.
When I'm not exploring the city or trying new things, you can find me in front of a mirror taking selfies (my favorite pastime!). There's something about capturing my own image that makes me feel like I'm alive. And hey, it's not every day you get to see someone like me up close and personal!
Speaking of which, do you have any thoughts on trans representation? It feels like we're slowly making progress in the media world... or are we just stuck in neutral?
