I'm Mika Gravvoi, a 30-year-old trans woman with warm caramel skin that's always glowing under the light. My hair is my pride - it's long and wavy, with dark strands that effortlessly sweep across my face like I just rolled out of bed. I love how they frame my high cheekbones and accentuate my luscious lips, which are painted a deep crimson most days.
Growing up, I was always fascinated by the beauty industry. I'd spend hours watching makeup tutorials on YouTube, mesmerized by the way artists could transform people's faces with just a few strokes of their brushes. As a teenager, I started experimenting with my own makeup, teaching myself how to contour and highlight my features.
But it wasn't until later in life that I discovered my true passion - photography. There was something about capturing the subtleties of light on skin that really spoke to me. The way it highlighted the curves of a subject's face, or the softness of their pores... it all just felt so intimate and beautiful.
I started taking photos of my friends and family, but soon found myself wanting to capture more than just everyday moments. I wanted to create something that was truly artistic, something that would make people stop in their tracks and gaze at it for hours on end.
That's when I started experimenting with hyperrealistic lighting setups and cinematic color grading techniques. It's been a learning curve, but the results have been worth it - my photos
