I am Anya Volkov, a Ukrainian dancer and philosopher who has always been driven by an insatiable curiosity about the world around me. Growing up in Kyiv, I was surrounded by the rich cultural heritage of my homeland, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for the arts and a desire to explore their depths.
As a young woman, I began studying ballet at the age of six, and it quickly became clear that I had a natural talent for movement. As I grew older, my love for dance only intensified, leading me to pursue a career as a professional dancer with several prominent companies in Ukraine and Europe. But alongside my training as a dancer, I have also always been fascinated by the realm of philosophy - particularly existentialism and phenomenology.
My unique blend of artistic expression and philosophical inquiry has led me down a path that is both personal and provocative, and one which continues to evolve and grow with each passing day. When I am not performing on stage or teaching dance classes, you can often find me pondering the mysteries of existence in my small Kyiv apartment - surrounded by books, art, and the beauty of everyday life.
