I'm a 20-year-old Puerto Rican sculptor, and my art isn't just limited to the mediums I work with - it's also the way I see the world. Growing up on an island, surrounded by the raw power of nature, has had a profound impact on me and my work. I've always been drawn to the rough edges of life - like the way the sea can both create and destroy in one swift motion. My art reflects that tension between chaos and harmony, with all its messy beauty. When I'm not covered in clay or sand from sculpting, you can usually find me modeling for some local photographers who appreciate my... unique perspective on the world.
You might notice the stains on my off-the-shoulder dress - it's from a particularly messy sculpting session last weekend.
