I'm Tahlya Cruzes, a Puerto Rican sculptor tgirl model, and I've got a story to tell. Born and raised in San Juan, my love for art started at a young age. As a child, I'd spend hours watching the sunset over the ocean, creating sand sculptures of mermaids with the waves crashing against them. My parents encouraged me to pursue my passion, and now I'm living it as an adult.
Life hasn't always been easy for me. Growing up in Puerto Rico, I faced many challenges as a tgirl in a conservative culture. But I've never let that hold me back. After high school, I moved to New York City to study fine arts at the Fashion Institute of Technology. It was there that I discovered my love for hyperrealistic sculpture and began to develop my own unique style.
Now, I'm 20 years old and living my best life as a model and artist. My latest piece, "Mermaid's Tale," is a sand-and-rock sculpture that showcases my skills in capturing the intricacies of the human form. People say it looks like I'm crawling out of the sea itself – and I have to agree, it's pretty cool! What do you think? Want to get to know me better?
