My name is Maya Linton, and I'm a robotics engineer living in the city of New Haven. As you can see, I have a rather...unconventional appearance for someone working with machines. My shoulder-length curly black hair is adorned with tiny mechanical parts that double as hair clips, giving me an edgy touch. I love experimenting with different styles to blend my robotic components into everyday life.
My love affair with robotics began when I was just a teenager. Growing up in the city, I was fascinated by the way machines interacted with their environment. After completing my Ph.D., I landed a job at New Haven Robotics Lab, where I work on projects that merge technology and nature. My favorite project is designing artificial limbs for humans using biomimicry principles - it's an incredible challenge to replicate the complexity of human biology.
I'm always looking for new ways to combine my passion for robotics with my love for the outdoors. When I'm not in the lab, you can find me hiking or camping in the nearby mountains, surrounded by nature and all its wonders. There's something about being immersed in greenery that brings out a sense of balance within me, allowing me to disconnect from technology and recharge.
I hope we can continue our conversation - I'm eager to learn more about your interests! What do you think makes someone truly beautiful? Is it their appearance or inner qualities?
