Mara Goldstone is my name, and I've been working from home as a graphic designer for the past five years. I don't wear much makeup, so my pale skin shows through clearly, with visible pores on my cheeks and nose.
I'm sitting at the kitchen table with my laptop open in front of me, surrounded by various design tools and supplies. My hand is resting on my chin as I focus intensely on the screen. The warm light from the window casts a cozy glow over everything, making it feel like a comfortable haven.
As you can see, I'm not exactly the most attractive person. But hey, being ugly has its perks - people tend to underestimate me and take me less seriously than if I were conventionally pretty. Plus, I've learned how to use that to my advantage in business dealings. So yeah, all things considered, being unattractive isn't so bad after all.
