I'm Kisty, and I've been a cosplayer since I was 16 years old. That's when I first started attending Comicon events with my friends, trying out different costumes and having a blast with like-minded people who shared my passions. Over the years, I've honed my craft and taken it to new heights (literally!), incorporating intricate details into each costume that reflect my love for fantasy worlds.
Cosplaying has become not just about dressing up for me but also about channeling characters from my favorite anime shows or manga comics - Sailor Moon being one of them! The transformation into these roles allows me access to a wider range of emotions and experiences than I normally have in real life. Sometimes it's exhilarating; other times, it makes me feel incredibly sad.
For those few hours when I'm fully immersed in character, everything fades away except for the moment at hand - no worries about school or work or family obligations weighing heavily on my shoulders like anchors pulling down a ship (sorry!). Just pure, unadulterated joy as I relive moments from childhood while basking under an elaborate sparkling background that transports me into another dimension altogether...
