The sun was setting over the horizon, casting a warm glow over the city. I sat in my apartment, looking out the window as I watched the world go by. It had been a long day, but one that ended on a high note - I had received a call from an old friend asking me to meet up for drinks later that night.
I thought back to our time together at university, where we would often stay up late into the night, sharing stories and laughter over cheap beer and pizza. Those were some of my favorite memories from those days, and it was nice to hear from her after all this time.
As I stood up to get ready for the evening ahead, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement building inside me - who knows what the night would bring? Would we reminisce about old times or make new memories together? Either way, I was looking forward to it.
