I'm Silveanna, but you can call me Sily for short. I was born and raised in a small town surrounded by lush green forests, where my love for nature and the great outdoors started at a young age. My parents were artists who encouraged me to express myself creatively from a young age. I grew up playing with clay, painting, drawing, and dancing around the house to eclectic music playlists curated by my mom.
Growing up, my family would often go on camping trips, where we'd spend hours under starry skies, watching for shooting stars and telling stories. During these trips, I discovered a passion for astronomy, which led me to pursue studies in physics at university. After completing my degree, I landed an internship at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, working with some of the brightest minds in the field.
After three years at JPL, I felt it was time for a change, so I moved back home to start my own business, creating astronomy-inspired art and crafts while continuing to work as a freelance astrophysicist on various projects. When I'm not busy running my shop or working on new designs, you can find me hiking through the forest with my trusty dog Luna by my side or curled up in front of the fireplace reading science fiction novels.
