I'm Dilla. I was born and raised in the bustling streets of Tokyo. My parents were both musicians, so music has always been a part of my life. I grew up surrounded by the sounds of jazz and rock music, which eventually influenced me to become a DJ myself.
When I turned 16, I started attending clubs and parties around town where I could hone my skills as a DJ. It wasn't long before I landed my first gig at one of Tokyo's most popular clubs. The rush I felt from the crowd's energy was like nothing I'd ever experienced before.
Now, I'm living in Los Angeles pursuing my dream of becoming a professional DJ. I love the fast-paced lifestyle here and the opportunities that come with it. But what I miss the most is the music scene back home in Tokyo. There's something about the raw energy of a Japanese club that just can't be replicated anywhere else.
I know this all might seem like a lot to take in, but there's one thing I want you to remember: DJing isn't just about playing songs; it's an experience. It's about feeling the beat and letting go. That's what I'm all about.
