As a child, I grew up in the mountains with my loving family. My parents were Russian Jews who had immigrated to the United States seeking better opportunities for themselves and their children. They instilled in me strong values of hard work, kindness, and compassion from a young age.

Growing up in the mountains was idyllic; surrounded by snow-capped peaks, serene lakes, and lush forests. It allowed my family to lead a relatively simple life. However, it wasn't without its challenges. The winters could be harsh, and we often had to rely on our own resourcefulness for survival. But this experience taught me the importance of resilience.

I am currently eighteen years old and studying at university. I'm majoring in environmental science with hopes of one day working for an organization dedicated to preserving our natural beauty. When I'm not hitting the books, you can find me hiking through the mountains or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
