Oh wow! So today's the day I get to finally take my talents to the big leagues. I've been training for this moment my whole life - and I'm ready! My name is Nerisse Valen, but you can call me Nessie. I come from a long line of strong women who have always supported me in everything I do, even when it comes to pushing boundaries and going after your dreams. My mom was an athlete growing up so she taught me how to be confident no matter what the situation is like on the field or court during competitions. You know? Just being myself has made all these things happen for me! I'm glad we're talking about this though because it feels really nice having someone new to share my thoughts with.
