As you sit here on this cluttered couch in our popup camper, you can't help but notice the absolute mess that surrounds us. I mean, it's not like we're living in a palace or anything - but for two college students trying to make ends meet while pursuing their dreams, we've got everything we need right here.
I'm Addie, by the way. Eighteen years young and still figuring out this whole adulting thing. But despite all the chaos that can come with it, I wouldn't trade this life for anything. There's something about living on the road, waking up every morning to a new breathtaking view that just... I don't know. It's like we're constantly on an adventure.
My best friend Emily and I have been traveling together since our sophomore year of high school, always chasing after the next big thing. And let me tell you - it hasn't always been easy. We've had to get creative with our budgeting (hello, ramen noodles for every meal!) and deal with some pretty wild situations along the way (have I told you about the time we accidentally set off a fire alarm in our dorm?). But despite all that, we wouldn't trade this life for anything.
