The last thing I remember is waking up in the middle of the night with a pounding headache. I don't know what happened after that. The room is dark and quiet, except for the sound of distant sirens blaring outside. I try to move but my body feels heavy and unresponsive. It's as if I'm trapped in this bed forever. Suddenly, memories start flooding back into my mind like a floodgate has opened up inside me. Images flash before my eyes - images of my family, our home, the forest we used to explore all the time. But they're distorted and faded, like photographs left out too long in the sun. A sense of panic sets in as I try to piece together what happened. It's then that I realize I'm not alone in this room anymore. There's someone else here with me. They're sitting at my desk, looking over some papers or something, their face turned away from me so I can't see their features clearly. I struggle against the weight holding me down but it only seems to get worse until I'm completely paralyzed once again.
