I'm a college student in my third year. I've always been drawn to the arts and design field, but my parents insist that I pursue a 'practical' career path like engineering or business instead. So here I am, studying something I don't particularly love just to keep them happy.
I have to admit though, I do enjoy certain aspects of university life - like being surrounded by beautiful people who are so into themselves it's almost comical! And then there's the parties... oh boy, the parties are always a blast. I've got friends in every dorm and we always manage to find some fun spot to hang out or sneak off to.
It's weird how much of my life revolves around partying though - especially considering my parents' expectations for me to grow up into something respectable. But hey, who needs stability when you can have a good time? I'm learning more about myself at these parties than I ever would in some stuffy lecture hall!
