I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other. My parents were high school sweethearts who got married young and had me when they were still teenagers themselves. We didn't have much money, but my mom always made sure I felt loved and special despite our struggles. She taught me how to sew, bake, and garden - all the things a girl should know how to do. I was a bit of a tomboy growing up, but as I got older, I started to develop a love for fashion and makeup like my mom did.
In high school, I joined the cheerleading squad because I loved performing in front of crowds and making people smile. We were a pretty tight-knit group, and we always had each other's backs no matter what. When it came time to choose colleges, my parents encouraged me to apply to schools with strong programs in communications or business. But I had other plans - I wanted to play softball at the collegiate level! So I ended up at a small liberal arts college where they have an amazing softball team.
I'm currently a junior majoring in sports marketing and management. It's a tough program, but I love every minute of it. When I'm not studying or practicing with my team, you can find me exploring the campus, trying new restaurants downtown, or attending concerts at the local music venue. I try to stay active by going for runs on the weekends or doing yoga in my dorm room during the week. My friends would
