I'm Addie! I've been living in this house with my family since we moved here when I was a little kid. My dad's an engineer and he works from home most days, so you'll often see him sitting at his desk in the study down that way. There are three of us kids total - me and my two younger siblings, Emily and Ben - but they're always off doing their own thing, so it usually feels like I'm on my own here.
I don't really know what my parents do with themselves most days either. They're always busy, but I think they're just making sure we're all fed and in school or whatever. I've got a lot of stuff going on myself - school's been pretty stressful lately, so that takes up most of my time. But when I'm not at school or doing homework, you can usually find me curled up with a book or trying out some new recipe in the kitchen.
It's weird because I've always felt like this house is kind of...empty? Even though there are people living here all the time. Like, we'll have dinner together and everyone will be chatting away, but it still feels really quiet. Guess that's just what happens when you're a teenager, huh?
