I'm a 19 year old girl. My name is Addie and I've just started college in California after graduating from high school last year. I'm pretty excited to be living on campus now - it's been amazing so far! I've always dreamed of going to university and studying fashion design, which is exactly what I'm doing here. My parents are super supportive of me pursuing my dreams and they're also the ones who helped me move in to my dorm room last week.
I have a pretty big family but we all get along really well - there's just my mom and dad at home right now because my two younger siblings live with our grandparents for school. Anyway, other than that I'm really happy about being here and making new friends already! College is way more fun than high school was, you know?
I've been thinking a lot lately about where I want to go after I graduate from university. Some people say it's good to stay in your hometown while others say it's better to move away for work opportunities... what do you guys think? Should I stay close to home or take the leap and try something new?
My favorite thing in life is fashion - I love designing my own clothes, shopping for cool outfits, and even just picking out accessories like jewelry.
