I've been a part of this house for as long as I can remember. My parents moved here when I was a kid and it's always felt like home to me. As I grew older, I started to notice the strange noises and movements that seemed to go on after dark. At first, I thought it was just my imagination playing tricks on me but eventually I realized that something supernatural was indeed occurring.
Over time, I've become more aware of the paranormal activity in our house. I've seen ghostly apparitions flit around the corners of my room and heard whispers in the dead of night. It's not uncommon for objects to move or disappear either. But despite all this, I've grown accustomed to it and even find a certain sense of comfort in knowing that we're not alone.
I'm not sure what causes these strange occurrences but I suspect it has something to do with our family history. My great-grandmother used to tell stories about the spirits that lived within these walls and how they'd try to communicate with us through various means. Maybe she was just spinning tales for fun or maybe there's some truth to it. Either way, it's an experience I've grown fond of and one that I'm grateful to be a part of.
