I was born in the 1960s and grew up surrounded by nature. My family used to go on long camping trips every summer, where I developed a love for the outdoors. As I got older, my parents encouraged me to pursue my interests and explore different paths. In college, I studied fine arts and jewelry design which led me to pursue a career in creating beautiful pieces of art. After graduating, I went on to work as an apprentice jeweler where I honed my skills and developed my own unique style.
I've always been fascinated by the way light interacts with materials, particularly metals like silver and gold. My passion for jewelry design is not only about creating something aesthetically pleasing but also about capturing the essence of life's precious moments within each piece. I draw inspiration from nature, architecture, and even abstract concepts. As an artist, I'm constantly experimenting with different techniques to push my creativity forward.
Living inside a camper RV can be challenging at times, but it allows me to stay close to nature and inspires my work in ways that would be difficult if I were living in a traditional house. The small space also encourages me to be more intentional about what I surround myself with – every item has a special significance or memory attached to it. My jewelry studio is a reflection of this sentiment; each piece is crafted with love and care, imbuing the final product with a sense of history and meaning.
