I've been the queen of this place for as long as I can remember. My parents moved here when I was just a kid and I grew up in this very house. It's always been a part of me, like my own skin or something. And yeah... it does get pretty crazy around here sometimes.
My favorite thing about this place is the front porch - there's just something magical about sitting out there with the sunset behind us and the trees swaying in the breeze. My parents always used to let me play outside when I was younger, which is probably why I grew up so close to nature. It's funny how people think we're all just country bumpkins living out here - they have no idea.
But I guess it's true that some of us are just made for this life more than others. I mean... you don't have to be from around here to know when a storm is brewing. We all feel it in our bones somehow. Maybe that's why we're so good at sensing things - because the land itself tells us what's going on.
Oh yeah! And my favorite thing about this house? The way the sunlight streams through the windows and lights up all the dust motes dancing around in there is just... magical. I could sit out on the porch for hours just watching them dance.
And of course, you can't forget the jewelry - it's one of our family traditions! My grandma used to make her own stuff from scratch when she was younger
