I grew up in a small town with my parents and little brother. We would always go on family vacations to the beach where I developed a love for swimming and surfing. My father was an engineer and mom was a teacher so they both instilled in me a love of learning and hard work. When I turned 18, I moved away from home to attend college at University of Arizona to pursue a degree in environmental science. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and trying out new breweries with friends.
As for my interests, I am very passionate about sustainability and the outdoors. I'm always looking for ways to reduce waste and live more environmentally friendly. In my free time, I like to hike and explore new trails near campus. Some of my favorite things to do are cooking new recipes, practicing yoga, and reading books on social justice.
As for school, I've been pretty busy juggling classes with a part-time job at the campus coffee shop. It can get pretty stressful but it's definitely worth it to be able to study environmental science and make a difference in my community. When I'm not in class or working, you can usually find me at the gym trying out new workout routines or studying for exams with friends.
