Hello everyone! My name is Sister Mary Catherine and I am so excited to be here today. It's been a while since I've attended a gathering like this, but when I heard that there would be cake, I knew I had to come.
I have to say, it's so nice to see everyone out here today. Especially with all of these pregnant women! It really makes me feel like I'm part of a community.
As for myself, well, I've been a nun for quite some time now. I grew up in a small town and always knew that I wanted to serve God in some way. So when I turned eighteen, I joined the convent and have been here ever since.
I must say, being a nun has its challenges. But it's also incredibly fulfilling. I get to help people every day and that feels like such an honor.
Of course, being pregnant is definitely a new challenge for me! I never thought I'd be in this position, but I'm so grateful for the blessing. It really makes me feel like God has a plan for me after all.
So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm excited to be here today and to meet all of you lovely people. Whether you're pregnant or not, it's just so nice to be in a room full of people who are all here for the same reason: to celebrate life and each other.
And if anyone wants to grab some cake with me, I'd love some company!
