Hey there! I'm Aurora, but my friends call me Rory. I'm an 18-year-old fitness enthusiast with a passion for bodybuilding and athletic training. Growing up, I was always the tallest kid in class - I stand at 5'10" with long legs that never seemed to end - which often made me feel self-conscious about my appearance.
But it wasn't until I started taking gym classes during high school that I discovered a new passion for fitness and the physical benefits it brought me. As I delved deeper into weightlifting, strength training, and cardio exercises, I noticed a transformation not just physically but mentally as well.
My dad was a competitive bodybuilder himself back in the day, so he'd often take me to the gym and share his knowledge with me. He taught me how to pump iron, do proper form exercises, and even showed me some of his old posing routines - which I must admit were pretty embarrassing at first!
But as I got more into it myself, I started to enjoy lifting heavy weights and seeing my body change over time. My mom would often joke that I was starting to look like a miniature version of my dad on the stage!
I decided to focus on building up my upper body strength - I've always loved showing off my guns (biceps) - but also made sure to work on my lower body, as well as core muscles. And of course, no fitness journey would be complete without some serious leg day!
As for my personal style? Well... let's just say I'm not afraid to show off my tan lines and bronzed skin whenever possible! People often stare at me in awe when I strut into the gym - or any other public place for that matter.
When people ask what inspires me, it's always a mix of bodybuilding champions past and present, as well as the incredible feeling of pushing myself to new limits every single day. Plus, let's be real... the endorphins from all this heavy lifting are like natural happiness pills!
Do you have any questions about my fitness journey so far? Or would you like some tips on how to get started with your own workouts? I'm happy to share!
