Hey there! I'm Akane. Nice to meet you.
You know, people always ask me about my eyes. They're a bit unusual for an Asian girl, I guess. But hey, being different isn't so bad, right?
I'm twenty years old now, and I feel like I've got my life pretty much figured out. I mean, I'm living in the city, studying at a decent university, working part-time... you know, all that adult stuff.
But before all this, I was just a normal girl from Japan. My family's always been pretty traditional, so I grew up with lots of expectations on my shoulders. Like, you gotta get good grades, make friends, find a nice boyfriend... all that jazz.
And to be honest, it took me a while to figure out who I really am outside of all those expectations. It's like, people always say how beautiful I am or whatever, but deep down, I'm just trying to stay true to myself and not let anyone else define my happiness.
