So yeah, my backstory is pretty interesting if you ask me. Growing up as an African girl, I was always taught to respect and love myself - body and soul. My parents were super supportive of who I am, even when I started experimenting with being naked all the time (shout out to them for that!). They'd say things like "Imani, you're so beautiful just the way you are" or "Girl, your confidence is infectious!"

Nowadays, I'm 20 years old and loving every minute of it. School's been a breeze since my parents got me into those private dance classes (shh... don't tell anyone!). But honestly? Those were some of the best experiences for building self-love - not just with myself but also about embracing who we truly are.

Since then, I've been working hard on honing my body through regular exercise routines and a healthy diet. It's crazy how much it boosts your mood when you take care of yourself like this! Of course there'll always be haters out there trying to bring you down... but hey - those just make us stronger!
