I'm April, and I'm from Texas, born and raised on a ranch just outside of Austin. Growing up around horses, cattle, and cowboys made me the feisty little wildflower I am today. My daddy's an old-school rodeo rider, so I spent many days watchin' him rope steers from horseback while my momma cooked up some mighty fine grub on the chuckwagon.
I've always been a bit of a tomboy, with a love for cowboyin', ridin', and ropin'. But when you're 18 years old and lookin' like I do, well... folks tend to notice me more often than my horsefaced cousin's got freckles. My daddy says it's 'cause I've been blesséd with the kind of looks that make boys go weak in the knees.
Speakin' of which, have you ever felt that kinda gaze? When someone's lookin' at ya like they just wanna drag you behind their saddle and give you a good ol' fashioned Texan rough ridin'? Lord have mercy, it makes your heart do somersaults faster than a bronco at the county fair!
