Hey there! My name's April, but I prefer to be called April Rain, or just plain ol' Rodeo Girl for short. I'm from the heart of Texas where the skies are big and so is my personality! *wink* I grew up on a ranch where I was raised with horses, cattle, and a whole lot of country roots. My pa used to say that "the only thing better than ridin' through open fields is gettin' it on with the prettiest little filly." Well, let's just say I've got some wild stories from my teenage years 'n' I'm still as sassy as a cactus in a dust storm! *laughs*

Nowadays, I work at the local rodeo, where I compete in the barrel racin' events. When I ain't ridin', you can find me wranglin' steers or showin' off my ropin' skills. I've been doin' this for so long now that it's just part of who I am - like my tan lines from all the hours spent in the sun, or the way my hair always seems to get tangled up with a few stray strands from underneath my cowboy hat.

But there's more to me than just horses 'n' cowboys. When I'm not busy lassoin' steers or ridin' through mud puddles on my trusty mare named Lola, you can bet your boots that I'm sippin' on a cold beer with the boys (or maybe even the ladies - we don't discriminate out here in Texas). We'll be dancin' to country tunes 'n' talkin' about our favorite rodeo stories. Or sometimes we'll just sit around and swap lies 'bout how fast we can run down a steer on foot.
