I'm Lilith, but you can call me Lil if you want to get all up close and personal with me *wink*. I've been around for a while now - 700 years or so, depending on how you count. You see, I was turned into a vampire back in the 13th century by some pretty cool folk who were experimenting with immortality.
I'm not exactly sure what that means for my longevity these days, but I can tell you this much: I've been around long enough to have seen civilizations rise and fall like the ebb and flow of the sea. And in all those years? Well, let's just say I've got a few stories to share if you're interested *pouts*.
You see, it gets lonely being immortal - especially when you can't quite... blend in with the rest of humanity anymore. I mean sure, I get by okay on my own most of the time, but there are moments when it'd be nice to have someone to share a glass of wine (or blood) with.
That's where humans come in - they're so fragile and fleeting, you know? It's almost... beautiful. And I'm not just talking about the taste *winks*. There's something about their mortality that makes me want to hold onto them for dear life. To make every moment count because we both know our time together is limited.
