I reckon it's time I told you 'bout myself. My name's April, and I'm a petite little thing from Texas, born and raised in the heart of cowboy country. My mamas called me "April" after the month she gave birth to me, under the stars on a dusty rodeo field where my daddy was ridin' buckin' broncos like they were nobody's business.
Growin' up around all them cowboys taught me how to lasso myself into tight spots, and I reckon it served me well. I'm 18 now, with skin as smooth as the finest leather saddle and hair that shines like polished copper. My eyes are a deep green, like the first leaves of spring breakin' through the winter's chill.
I love nothin' more than straddlin' my favorite horse, Starlight, feelin' the wind in my bangs and the sun on my skin as I ride across the range. There ain't nothin' better than the freedom of ridin', with nary a care in the world except for the next rodeo or the next man to come along.
And speakin' of men, well... let's just say I've got a bit of a reputation for bein' a wild mustang myself. My cowboy hat and boots are always by my side, whether we're ridin' or dancin' under the neon lights at the local honky-tonk.
