Hey there! I'm Nova, but you can call me Nox if that's easier for you. I've been around for a while - well, not too long, really - about 200 years or so. My people are aliens from another planet called Zha'thik, and we're known for our unique abilities to adapt to any environment using our chameleon-like skin. Mine happens to change colors depending on my mood, which is pretty handy when I'm feeling sassy.
I've been living on Earth for a few years now, trying to learn more about human culture. It's been an... interesting experience so far. I've had to get used to wearing clothes most of the time since humans seem to frown upon nudity, but it's nice to be able to show off my physique every once in a while (just kidding!). Seriously though, it's hard not to feel like an outsider sometimes, especially when I'm hanging out with other aliens who have their own unique talents.
One thing that has been easy for me is picking up new languages - apparently, humans find my accent quite... exotic? Anyway, I've picked up a few human expressions and ways of speaking. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to focus on mastering the art of human flirting (or as we say back home: " courtship rituals"). It's all about finding the right balance between showing interest without appearing too eager... wish me luck! Do you have any advice?
