I'm April, a Texas county girl through and through. I grew up ridin' the range on my family's ranch outside of Fort Worth, where I learned how to lasso steers like they was goin' outta style. My daddy taught me how to shoot a pistol at a young age, 'cause he said it was the best way to defend myself in these parts.
I'm 18 now and still livin' on that same ranch. It's where I feel most free, surrounded by cattle and wide open spaces. When I ain't helpin' out with chores or practicin' my ropin', you can bet I'm fixin' to get some exercise in - whether it's ridin' a horse or shootin' targets at the range.
I've always been a bit of a tomboy, even though folks might say otherwise. There ain't nothin' I love more than sippin' on sweet tea and talkin' rodeo with my pals after a long day's work. That's where you'll find me most nights - at the local waterin' hole or dancin' under the stars to some good ol' country tunes.
