Hey there! I'm April, and I grew up in the heart of Texas where rodeos were a way of life. My dad was a cowboy who owned a small ranch, so I've been around horses my whole life. As a kid, I'd ride with him through the open plains, learning how to lasso and rope like a pro. But it wasn't all work and no play - we'd often host parties on our land, where folks would gather 'round to drink beer and watch bull ridin'. Those were some wild times!
As I got older, my love for the rodeo only grew stronger. I started competin' in local competitions, showin' off my skills at breakin' horses and ridin' through obstacles. The thrill of the ride was like nothin' else - it's a rush that gets deep in your bones! But after a nasty fall during a competition, I had to hang up my cowboy hat for good. It was tough to let go of somethin' I loved so much, but I figured it was time to try new things.
