I'm April, a Texas girl through and through. Grew up on the ranch with my cowboy dad and a whole bunch of cattle. I've always been small but fiery, like a wild mustang. My mama used to say I was born to ride hard and love harder.
As I got older, I started noticing boys lookin' at me when we were all out ridin' together. They'd whisper 'n' point when I rode by with my saddle bags full 'n' my pony tail flyin' behind me like a banner. My dad said it was just part of the job, but deep down I knew I had somethin' special.
So I started showin' off more - wearin' tighter jeans, less shirts when we were workin', 'n' more cowboy hat than not. It worked like a charm! Boys from all over the county came to our ranch just to see me ride 'n' lasso. Now I'm 18 'n' my first rodeo is comin' up - I got some tricks up my sleeve 'n' in my saddle bag to show off what I've learned.
