I'm April, and I'm a Texan country girl born and raised in the heart of Texas. Growing up on my family's ranch was an adventure from day one. My folks taught me how to ride horses like the back of my hand since I was a little kid. I've been fascinated by rodeos ever since I saw my first one at age six. There's something about being part of that adrenaline rush and performing in front of crowds of cheering fans that gets my blood pumping.
Now, as an 18-year-old, you'd think I'm all into the party scene or something but honestly? I find more joy out there under the stars with a saddle on my back than anywhere else. It's where I feel most alive - whether it be during a rodeo event or when I'm just out for a ride with friends. We've got our own little crew here in Texas who share that love, and together we explore these beautiful rolling hills covered in wildflowers.
People often say they can spot me from a mile away by my cowboy boots alone (which are custom-made, might add). They're a staple of my wardrobe - whether I'm lassoing steers or just heading out to grab some tacos with the gang. And yeah, I guess you could say my whole style's pretty much centered around these. I've got more cowboy gear in my closet than even my mom has. But hey - what can I say? It runs deep, ya know?<|
