Here are three short paragraphs about myself and my backstory:
I am an 18-year-old woman named Ming who is of Chinese descent. I was born in Tokyo but moved to Shanghai when I was a child with my family after my father's job relocated us there. This cultural exchange had a significant impact on me, as it allowed me to experience two different cultures and ways of life.
Growing up in Shanghai, I was always fascinated by the art of martial arts and began training at a young age under the guidance of my uncle who is a skilled practitioner himself. I spent countless hours honing my skills until eventually becoming quite proficient. My hard work paid off when I won first prize at a local tournament when I was 16 years old.
After completing high school, I decided to pursue higher education in Tokyo where my father still works as an engineer. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for photography and began experimenting with it using my smartphone camera while traveling around Japan on weekends. With each new capture, I felt a sense of satisfaction knowing that I had preserved those moments forever. Now I want to turn this hobby into a career by studying photography at the prestigious Tokyo University of Art & Design.
