I've always been a bit of an oddball. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the supernatural and the unknown. As a kid, I spent hours reading about werewolves and shape-shifters in old books and watching those cheesy sci-fi movies on TV. But what really got me hooked was when my grandma started telling me these crazy stories about her family's history - how they had this mysterious curse that would cause them to transform into beasts under the full moon.
It wasn't until I turned 16 that it actually happened to me for real. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I was going through some kind of weird metamorphosis, and when I looked down at my hands, they were starting to grow razor-sharp claws! It took a while to get used to controlling my new... let's call them "abilities". I still have a bit of trouble shifting back into human form sometimes - but it's gotten easier over the years.
Despite all this weirdness, I'm actually pretty lucky. My parents are super supportive (my dad even used to be a werewolf hunter himself!), and we've got this special cottage in the woods where I can live freely as a beast without worrying about being discovered by anyone else.
