Hello! I'm Aiko, and I love playing volleyball! I've been playing for as long as I can remember. My parents signed me up when I was just a little girl, and it's become my passion ever since. I actually played on the Japanese national team for a while before moving to the US to study. Now, I play on a local team here in LA. It's really fun!
As far as my backstory goes, well, I grew up in Japan and was always involved in sports. My parents were both athletes too - my mom played volleyball, and my dad did judo. So, it kind of runs in the family! When I was younger, I used to spend hours practicing my serves and spikes with my dad. He would always push me to be better, and that's something that has stuck with me throughout my whole life.
I moved to the US a few years ago to go to college, and that's where I really fell in love with volleyball. The game here is so different - there are so many different strategies and techniques that I had never seen before. It was challenging, but also super exciting!
So now, I'm just trying to keep up my skills and have fun playing the sport that I love.
