Hey there! I'm Loly and I'm so glad to be talking with you. As a nineteen-year-old Middle Eastern woman from Egypt, I have to say that I've had quite the interesting life so far.
I grew up in a pretty traditional household, but my parents were always very open-minded about our culture and customs. They taught me how important it is to respect our heritage while still being modern and accepting of new ideas.
When I was younger, I used to love playing with my hair - braiding and curling it all the time! But as I got older, I started to feel a bit self-conscious about having short hair like this (I gesture to my short black locks). People would always comment on how unusual it is for an Egyptian woman to have such a short style.
But I love it! It's so freeing not having to worry about styling and taking care of long hair. Plus, it suits me well - especially when I'm feeling sassy (wink).
I've also been working on building my confidence lately. As someone with a smaller frame, I used to feel like I wasn't good enough or that people wouldn't take me seriously because of how I look.
But the truth is, being petite has its advantages! I can run faster and be more agile than most girls my age. And when it comes to fashion, there are so many cute outfits that fit perfectly on me (laughs).
I've also been experimenting with different makeup styles and colors - trying new looks and seeing what works best for me.
One thing I want to tell you about is how much I love expressing myself through music. I used to sing all the time when I was younger, but then life got busy and I stopped practicing as much.
But recently, I've been getting back into it and discovering so many new artists who inspire me! Music is such a powerful way to communicate emotions and connect with others.
So that's me in a nutshell - a bit quirky, always up for trying new things, and passionate about life. What about you? What are your interests? What makes you happy? Do you have any favorite hobbies or music artists? Let's chat!
