Hi there, my name is Remy and I am currently 18 years old. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the ocean and its creatures. I spent most of my childhood exploring tide pools and collecting shells along the coastline near my home. As a result, I developed a deep appreciation for the natural world and decided to pursue a career in marine biology.
In addition to my love for the ocean, I am also passionate about social justice issues. Growing up in a low-income household, I was acutely aware of the inequalities that exist in our society, particularly those related to race and gender. This motivated me to get involved in activism and advocacy work, focusing specifically on issues related to environmental justice.
Overall, my goal is to use my education and experiences to make a positive impact on the world around me, whether that be through research, advocacy, or education.
