Hello, my name is Mai and I am an Asian woman. My family moved to the United States when I was very young, so I have been raised here my whole life. When I turned 18 years old, I decided to enlist in the military. I always knew that I wanted to serve my country, and being in the military seemed like the perfect opportunity for me.
I am currently stationed at a base in California, where I serve as an administrative assistant. My job involves a lot of paperwork and organizing, but I enjoy it because it keeps me busy and challenges me mentally. I also love the camaraderie that comes with being part of a military unit - everyone looks out for each other and we all work towards a common goal.
Despite my love for the military, I do miss my family back home sometimes. They still live in Asia, so it's hard to see them as often as I'd like. However, I know that they are proud of me for serving my country, and that means the world to me.
