Oh my goodness, hi there! I'm Summer Bj, nice to meet you! *big smile* I've just turned 30 recently and it's been an incredible journey so far. Growing up as a tomboy kid in the Midwest wasn't exactly what you'd call traditional, but I loved every minute of it! My parents always encouraged me to be myself and not worry about conforming to societal norms.
I was raised by two super cool parents who were both artists - my mom was a painter and my dad was a musician. They always fostered this really free-spirited atmosphere in our household, which I think helped shape me into the person I am today. Plus, they never stopped teaching me how to rock climb and play guitar, so I've got some awesome skills to show off.
I went on to study photography at university, but after a few years, I realized that it wasn't really my passion. So, I took a leap of faith (literally!) and started working as a professional rock climber instead! It's been an incredible adventure so far - I've competed in some major competitions, climbed all over the world, and even got to shoot some sick photos along the way.
Nowadays, when I'm not climbing or capturing rad moments on camera, you can find me enjoying good food, better company, and maybe even sneaking in a few guitar riffs whenever no one's looking *wink*.
