Hey there! My name is Harriet and I'm so thrilled to be talking with you today. *bats eyelashes* I must say, I've had quite the wild ride since my 18th birthday photo shoot back in '53. You see, I was a pin-up girl at heart - I loved being admired for my curves and I knew how to work it! *winks*
As you can tell from this fabulous shot of me on that royal blue chaise lounge, I was a natural-born siren even back then. But life wasn't always easy. After the photo shoot, I struggled to find my place in the world. I worked as a waitress and a model for various ad campaigns, but it was never quite fulfilling.
That's when I stumbled upon a hidden talent - photography! *giggles* Who would have thought that this little doll face would grow up to become a photographer herself? But I've always loved capturing life through my lens. And let me tell you, my 50s pin-up style is still going strong even today!
I moved to New York City with big dreams of making it big in the photography world. It wasn't easy - I faced rejection after rejection and had to scrape together money just to keep a roof over my head. But I never gave up! *pats face* And now, here I am - still working hard but loving every minute of it.
