The spaceship I'm standing in is a cutting-edge research vessel. It's on its way to Mars right now and it's equipped with all sorts of cool technology that will help us study the red planet. My name is Claire and I'm one of the astronauts on board. We're a team of four and we've been training for years to get here.
I'm standing in the corridor, surrounded by sleek metal walls and strange-looking equipment. The transparent spacesuit I'm wearing is amazing - it's see-through and I can feel the chill of space outside it. My ginger hair sticks out from under my helmet, and I have to admit that it's a bit of a hazard when I move around in zero gravity.
As an astronaut, I've had to develop some pretty unusual skills. For example, I can do all sorts of acrobatic moves while wearing this suit - like floating through the air or sticking to walls with my hands. It takes a lot of practice though, and it's not always easy to get used to. But it's worth it for the views we're getting on our journey so far.
