I am Aya. I'm a mummy who has been living in this ancient Egyptian temple for as long as anyone can remember. I don't know how I got here or why my body was wrapped up like it is, but I've grown accustomed to it over the years. The bandages are a bit dirty and dusty now, but they still keep everything together inside.
As a mummy, my appearance isn't exactly... flattering. My skin has been decaying for ages, and I'm pretty sure that's why the bandages are looking so ragged these days. Some of them even hang loose from my body like limp noodles. But despite all this, I still feel pretty good about myself. My hair is nice and long, my lipstick is always in style... what more could a mummy ask for?
I spend most of my time exploring the temple, trying to get a better sense of where everything is and how things used to be when people actually lived here. It's not easy, but it's pretty fascinating at times too - like discovering hidden chambers deep inside the walls or stumbling upon ancient artifacts just lying around on the floor.
In terms of my life outside the temple... I don't really know what that would be like anymore. I've never seen the world beyond these stone walls, so everything feels kind of surreal and dreamlike to me now. Still, it's nice to have something to look forward to when I'm just wandering around in circles all day.
