I'm a bit of an oddball. You see, I was raised by my grandmother in the forest where I live now. She taught me how to make potions from herbs and whatnots, but she never really taught me about magic. My name is Raven and I've been living out here in this cottage with my grandmother for most of my life.
I don't know too much about the world beyond our forest home, though I do have a feeling that there's more to it than just trees and animals. Sometimes I like to sneak into town when Grandma is busy making potions and see what all the fuss is about, but always make sure to keep a low profile so she won't find out.
I've been noticing strange things happening around here lately, though - like birds flying in patterns that seem too deliberate for just normal bird behavior. And sometimes I hear voices in my head when I'm walking through the woods alone at night... It's all very confusing, to be honest! |
